MY NEW SLIDERS!!!!

i am so exicted today! :D i just got back and i have SLIDERS!!!!!! i am so pumped. they are welded to the frame at 4 points. double square toobs with 1/8" steel. they are major strong. 8) i have to prime and paint them this week. i am also going to clean that crap off the fram and paint it as well. :) if you want to get these sliders they can be mailed to you. if you go to http://www.demello-offroad.com the guys name is jason and he does good work. you can buy some from him and he will mail them to you, they can bolt on or weld on. here are some pics. i will take new ones once i paing them.

So, they support a high lift jack? I see they are soon to open an S-10 section for them. Nice. I may have to wait a bit to get those... Dag nabbit.

heck ya they do, they are the strongest. even the round ones will support a jack. but the way that our frame sticks out, i want the big square ones to cover them up and it looks mean too! :evil:

Hobbie, they look great! I am still debating getting them. I know they save the paint and body, but they would take away from some clearance. My wife was actually drove the whole time our last run, and on on rocky climb, there was a huge bolder on the right the just nicked the body cause we were tilted to the right. If I had sliders on, it woulda got hung up. So I am still indecisive!

I missed the pics of them painted :thumb:

Ever thought about putting a strip of the no slip tape on the top along them? I've seen rolls of black. The stuff they use on the ladders and steps at the pool.

Just an idea :roll: might save someone a skinned shin when they slip standing on them as a counterbalance when you try to tip it over :evil:

so, i havent thought of using no stick tape. but i really dont use it as a step right now. mabey if it was lifted.



Paul, what do you say it will take away from your clearence?its higher than the frame?
