looking for advice on making my crew cab standout

soo ive had my 2004 s-10 crew cab for alil over a year now and ive noticed that in my area their r alot of older people driving them and there r no dun up 1s around here and i wanna start working on my truck but i rly dont know where to start so if anyone could help me that would be great

i put my location up and i was looking at going wit a 6" suspension lift wit 33s but i think i wanna w8 and get that when i have alil more cash to throw around i was looking a getting a 2" body lift and crank the T-Bar and get 2" shackels cause i wanna clear atleast 30s but ive herd some bad things about body lifts

T-bar cranks wear ur front end out faster and body lifts warp ur box and i wont paint it yellow but i was thinking of painting it chevy orange

i clear 31's with cranked tb's and 2" shackles. Of course i had to massage the front fender a little bit.

thats wat ive herd i did alil reserch and from wat people r saying a T-bar crank isnt bad unless u go over 2 inches

A little trim or massage with a BFH will likely be needed to fit 31's. 30x9.5-15 should do fine with close to stock rear spacing, BL and T-bars adjusted to max Z-height.

yea look up the marvelous mystery lift on here. with his combination 31 will be as big as you can go although there are some that manage 33's with fender cuts. I have a body lift ive just been too lazy to put it on, thats why i just massaged the fenders. Anyways the MML seems to be the norm for those of us not willing to fork out for a superlift or bds.

i wanna put dick cepeks dc-2s on my truck R15x10 with a 47mm off set cause i wanna put 31x12.50 on my truck do u think they would rub and wat about the radator wit the body lift since it dont move is my truck gunna over heat faster

Chrome it up!!! if that's your style. Though, after looking at some of my friends cars, I've seen that a little goes a long way. I ran into your same problem the first time I bought my truck. I tried a dual exhaust, but that kind of got some negative feedback.

everyone has a chrome truck and i looked at that mystery lift and imma go wit that for awhile and then ill bump up to the suspension lift and wat kind of exhaust did u put on cause i herd a s-10 that had a flowmaster 40 series and that actully sounded pretty good and he has a high flow cat on and scratch the tires im going with 31x10.50 wit dick cepek rims

At first I had a magnaflow muffler, but that didn't give me the sound I was looking for. So I went with a y pipe to replace the muffler.

magnaflow doesnt give us an aggressive sound and when u get a non stock exhaust u should get a high flow cat

I'm not sure I under stand . What exactly are you saying ? Our trucks come with a Y pipe at the beginning of the exhaust. Can you show this Mod ?

Look just a few topics down its called "y pipes" I posted a picture on there a while ago its just a pipe in place of the muffler so after the cat there's nothing but a pipe

it runs wide open alot better which is why my 0-60 was faster u do lose some low end but not enough to worry about didnt notice any lose but im sure it did due to the fact that its so free flowing now but over all runs better and is cheeper than any other over rated mufflers like flowmaster magnaflow . .etc .. and performs better had the flowmaster first and the y pipe has the better peformance and sound

but this is just my opinion others may hate the sound and performance but i like it alot bettter just my opinion

Has any one tried a thrush welded muffler or a flowmaster 40? Im lookin for something that makes it sound like its actually running but i still have to drive it long distances so nothing annoying. I dont want it to sound like a ricer or pop either. Just wondering if anyone had given these mufflers a shot and what your opinion is.

i had a flowmaster 40 before i went with the y pipe sounds great with that just wasnt loud enough for me the y pipe sounds the best to me it gives u a deep tone as long as u keep it under 2000 rpm"s about 2000 it starts to sound like a v6 but still deeper than u would expect but mine is fairly loud when going down the highway in OD but i cant hear it cause my new tires huming are louder than my exhaust lol but the flowmaster still sounds good just depends on how loud u want to go
