Look forward to seeing it. Do you have plans for stabilization? I used bed bugs for mine.

Re: found a toolbox to fit the crew!
That fits the width nicely. It looks like the lid is just above the bed rails. That puts a cover out of the equation. A Softopper would still work fine with a box like that if you need cover on the back.
Looks good. A nice size to carry lots of stuff
It looks like a load bar might fit between the fender wells to hold it forward for someone who wanted to be able to remove the box periodically. That does nothing for security though.
One thought would be to mount eye bolts , or a set of hood pins in the bed and set the box on them to secure it. Then pull the pin from the inside to remove the box when the need arises.

Just keep your eyes open. You might come across a cheap set of hood pins: JEGs - Mr. Gasket 1016 - Mr. Gasket Hood Pins $6.99
Maybe you'll have them when it comes time to remove it next?

Put a rubber shock bushing under the box. Cut it to fit just higher than the bed ribs. Push down to insert the pin. The rod is adjustable. Most don't like their hoods rattling either.
