Mods to the HVAC

Post by HenryJ »

I did a whole bunch of searching , but I can't find the thread on insulating the Airconditioning box.

I think it was Jim who had a pic of the insulation job He did?

I added the insulation jacket to my filter dryer, and thought I'd add the reflective insulation now.

The thread was slamming GM for forgetting how to make an AC system work, and how that the system blows hot air after you start it up after it sits for a while.

I was just thinking about it since it is over 100* today and the Heater control valve mod really helped the situation a whole bunch.

Refresh my "feeble" memory, what did you use, where can I get it and is there any available online?

P.S. Thanks that IS the picture I was looking for :thumb:

EDIT: I just realized that that is just the reflective tape  I have some of that at the shop! I thought it was aome sort of insulation, like Dynamat, with a reflective side!

Kew,l I can do that this weekend.
