Just did the Homelink and trip computer mod

Post by Jim »

Don't need to say much, allot has been written up on this. I took the time to pull the headliner down and put some insulation and sound deadener up there. The rest of the truck is sound proofed and I always wanted to do the roof (sounded like a tin can when you shut the door) I used a big patch of self adhesive dynomat type stuff right in the middle and foil covered 1/4" foam everywhere else

Well done! Thanks for taking the time to photograph it.
I noticed not only a sound difference, but also the heat. I seems to stay cooler. You feel less heat radiating from the top.
