So what can I do with an HPPIII that the dealer can't do for me??

I think the dealer can recaibrate for different tire sizes. The HPP3 can also change shift points. Very useful if you're going from a 29" tire to a 31"+. Change shift firmness. Tune for 89 or 93 octane (running 93 octane gas with the 93 octane tuning made a big difference in power for me). And some other things. If you're running larger tires, I think it's a must-have.
