westin push bumper looks great!
Got the Weston Push bumper (black) for christmas and had it on that morning. The install was ok (afew things left out of directions!).The fit is good. But the front end has some issues. First Brake lag it definite, takes longer to stop and the front end is a little dippy but thats not bad all in all its a good mod just heavier than I expected but I want to upgrade my suspension anyway and now heres my reason :) I really wanted to put a 25 pound siren on the bumper but with the dipping the front end is doing I will definetly have to put a beefier suspension on. And the clear directionals are really worth the $40 dollars they cost very sharp!
sounds good. we want pics

Have you upgraded shocks yet? That may help aleviate some of the nose diving issues. A slight crank of the T-bars may also be in order. Hobie has a nice write up on the mod info page (from the S-10crewcab website)
A search for t-bar crank should also yeild quite a bit of information.

Ya I should have some pics up in less than a week or so I got my girlfriend a digital camera for christmas so I just need to take the pictures and post them. The torsion bar mod seems riskier than anything I want to try. It just seems like there is to many things that MAY go wrong (don't have enough $ to fix ALL my mistakes) and in any case it would be my fault for attempting the mod but it is a good idea. I still need to get the chrome piece on the grille replaced with the extreme painted piece.

Don't get me wrong about the "T-bar crank" I don't recommend going much beyond the stock specs. Most I have found are way off, and below Z height specification as delivered.code3crew wrote:...The torsion bar mod seems riskier than anything I want to try. If you have added weight to the front , changing the height yet again, you do need to adjust the T-bars just to get it back in the range it was designed to operate, or you suffer the same fate as those who take it too far. I'm betting that if what you describe is true , you are way below Z height spec.
I think the "T-bar crank" has a "bad rap" from those who go too far (if that can really be done with the stock indexers) . It is mearly an adjustment. If you have reservations about doing it, take it to a reputable alignment shop and have them do the "crank" adjusting them back to the stock Z height.
EDIT: See split topic- Trim Height Measurements
