Power window mods

Post by MooreMoney »

I have an idea to add another power window button below the power door lock button on the driver side. The reason for this is so that I can push one button to have all four windows roll down. I hate having to push all for buttons to get the windows down. I assume that all I would have to do is splice into the wires from the other four buttons. The only concern i have is how much room there is under the panel since I have never had it have. What do you guys think? 8)

get a add on alarm that sits on top of the factory alarm. This gives you extra "channels" to control other stuff(remote start, window roll-down, etc.). So if you get that and window rolldown units, you can use the remote to roll all the windows down.

I have it on my Trooper and love it. I'm going to get window modules for my Crew as well. Both already have remote start(another nice feature).

Something like this should work:
