temperature sensor location problems

hey guys, i just recieved an aftermarket tranny temp and oil temp gauges for the crew, the temperature sensors are 1/8 NPT thread and looking under the truck i dont soon see a good place to mount these sensors. i dont see a spot on the oil pan (except for the drain, not sure if this is even NPT) and i dont have a view of any place to place the sensor into the tranny. please let me know where you guys with tranny gauges or oil temp gauges put your sensors, maybe a small description as to where on the trans you tapped into. thanks

thanks HJ , i shoulda found that myself, any tips for the oil temp sensor? please dont tell me to drill and tap a hole.
