Jet chip

Post by Warnoffroad »

http://www.imajeep.com/Jet%20Chip/stage ... module.htm will that work with a power programer? Also it gives all the HP gains front exhaust and air filters. When it says and extra 5hp with a K&N filter, is that and add on to what the filter already gives you? thanks

Here's the one for our's-

I had a buddy who tried the Jet chip in his last S-10 and wasn't impressed.

You have more options with the HPPIII for about the same price.

I wouldn't try using both, if for no reason other than the cost of them.

Oh I love this topic, with my truck the module didn't look like that. I had the Jet Stage 2 chip and I'd put it up to HPP3 anyday based on performance. If you look at the numbers (hp) Jet makes more power than Hpp3,... but If you want optional programing ie, shift points larger tires,... then Hpp3 is the way to go. But if you dont want to spend as much and your just looking for Power,... then I'd suggest Jet all the way.

Mine was an actual chip,... looked very close to a computer Ram chip. My computer was 02 computer, but the truck was an 01. The programmer goes for $350, and I spend $239 for the chip. I was very happy with the perforamnce increase. No problems with it either for 1-1/2 years use.

Hope this helps

Good luck!

No you can not use them both together but you cant go wrong with either one. Both will give you nice gains but one will give you a lighter wallet
