Rear Hitch
Hey guys, I would just like to know what hitches you guys are running and if you could post a picture of it installed if at all possible. I probably want to get a class III hitch, but with my exhaust modification, I would need to have one that tucks neatly behind the bumper where you couldn't really see the bar so it wouldn't interfere with the exhaust tips. Any help would great! Thanks alot!

Valley Industries manufactures hitches sold under several labels. GM and U-Haul are just a couple. (U-Haul also uses Reese an Putnam hitches)HenryJ wrote:GM, made by Valley industries...
There are many dealers. I know that NAPA carries them.
GMpartsdierct:
GM PART # 12496770
CATEGORY: Platform Trailer Hitch
PACK QTY: 4
GM LIST: $144.00
OUR PRICE: $120.96
DESCRIPTION: HITCH PKG
Weight Distribution Platform Hitch, 2" Receiver, 3,500-lb. Towing Capacity, 350-lb. Tongue Weight.
That includes the wiring for a truck. Not a bad price for the whole kit.
The last hitch I bought through NAPA ran about $100 without the wiring.

I am pretty sure that the Blazers use a different hitch to clear the fuel tank.

The Drawtite hitch is not raiseable.
It looks like Valley is not raiseable for your Blazer: Instruction sheet

GeorgesBlazah, looks like this would be the hitch that you need:
Hitch for sale on ZR2.com Not a bad price too. Offer $50 + $20 for shipping and you'll be set
The position of the bolts might make it a little harder to raise, but I could see redrilling two bolts and a weld?
Or make new end plates?
Hard to say , but definately workable.
