The ZR2 frame is marrower from the cab forward to help with the 31/10.5s.

My brushguard came off of a Z and it required a little modification to make it work.

I'd love a bumper like that, except I would prefer it coming just a bit lower, and the sides not slope. I don't need my approach angle that badly  But it does offer winch mounting options, which I find very attractive......if only they weren't so expensive....

While it is true that the ZR2 frame is narrower behind the rear of the wheel, the Helms manual shows the front of the frame horns the be the same to the upper mounts. The outside is 363 and the inside 262 for all the s-series.

There are differences in the bumpers for sure, just as the crew cab bumpers differ. Mounting holes underneath and on the sides may be different as well.

For a custom bumper as shown above I am sure they can build it to bolt on to your application.

All I know is that the tow hook holes in the frame are closer together than on the none Z. That is why I had to modify my Waag.

I saw that thread too , but seriously , I just cant see myself spending $699 USD , which is $819 candian dollars , PLUS shipping and Border Fees , I am lookin at about $1000 . I could buy some steel , rent a welder ,and get my dad to fab. one up for me . just need to find some blueprints/or measure another bumper off of someone elses truck to make a plan . And come out saving a 500$$ atleast .

Just buy one somewhere in the northern US - drive across the border, install it in a AutoZone parkinglot, sell your stock bumper to a salvage yard, Mand make back the Gas money you spent :-) Border guards won't know what your truck looked like before :-)
