Is This The Gas Tank Skid Plate I Need????

Post by gocntry »

HenryJ Or Anybody That Has Put A Gas Tank Skid Plate On Their CrewCab, Does This Look Like The One That I Need? Or Is This To Something Else? Has No GM Number On It And I Don't Have A Clue What It Is.

kinda reminds me of that old game show "Liars Club" where some moderately well known celebs would all take a non-descript object and have to explain what it was, but only one of them really had a clue - you had to guess who was lying.....

I'll start:

Waht you have there is a toboggan created completely from natural woven fibers by the natives of the Anuk-nuk tribe in southern Lithuania.

It is used to transport heavy items across the barren frozen wasteland during the harsh winters.

I can't say for sure since I have not taken a close look at the ZR2 pick-up's composite fuel tank shield.

It doesn't look quite right at the front though? It may use a different front brace?

Dunno, sorry.

Bubaloo, Yeah I Tried To Test Fit It, It Looked Close But Not Quite...Didn't Know If It Was Me Or The Wrong Skid.

F9K9 - HenryJ - A2B, Thanks For The Input....Looks Like I Got The Wrong One, Somebody Passed That On To Me And Told Me It Would Fit But I Guess Not :(

Hey Rusty.....Does It Look Like It Will Fit Your Blazer?? If So You Can Have It If You Want It. PM Me And We'll Meet If You Want.

Or Maybe It's A ZR-2 Skid :?: I'll Figure It Out Sooner Or Later, Anybody Else Figure It Out Let Me Know :D

Won't fit the Blazer. My tank is behind the rear axle and totally different. I may actually have a skid plate under it already. I'll have to look. Thanks anyway though!

I have the shield that fits under the t-case (thanks to HJ). Now I need to find the others. That and some MAJOR drivability issues to work out and I might be able to take the "Pig" on the next Core ride!
