i didnt opt for a bed extender when i bought my truck, but came across one on ebay for $75. now i have the truck and extender, but i dont have the brackets...
does anyone have part numbers for them?

umm i would think the dealer would be able to pull em up pretty quik. whenever i need a part i just tell em i need the thing that goes on the thing and they get a drawing and find it pretty quik. maybe try that if know one knows

thats just the problem... i've checked with 2 dealerships and neither can get a part number from their searches. they can sell the entire kit with the extender for around $175, but not just the brackets.
can anyone take their brackets off, shoot a few photos and take measurments so i can make my own?

That is understandable but I have found the opposite to be with accessories. I tried to order a center console for a gov't tahoe and when they added up all the prices for main console, lid, hinges, latching mechanism, cable, etc it was almost $400 bucks.
Not much help but, is odd they could find prices for all the console parts and not a complete unit price while you are experiencing the the opposite.
