LEDs in mirrors

Post by Brad »

Could I place LEDs in the rear view mirrors on the outside? I would like a whit hooked to the dome light circuit and an amber hooked to the turn signal circuit. Is there room in there? What about white for a cargo light?

I've seen aftermarket rear view mirrors that replace ours that have the LED lights built in. But they looked smaller and I was not sure if you could get them heated and remote controlled like the stock ones plus have the led lights. Also I don't want smaller side mirrors either.

I've seen plastic covers that cover the front of the mirror that have lights/strobes in them for emergency vehicles. I've seen them on Tahoe that the police use here.
