haha, ok well the kit is finally going on this weekend. Like i said in a previous thread, i hope to have it on in a few hours. Nothing to extensive or make a day out of it, its supposed to have a pretty big snow storm here in VA saturday and im not trying to be tied up all day in the garage. Luckily i work at a body shop ( im just a car painter) but i have one of the body men who offered me help who does this type of thing almost every week.
About the bolts, or was it Nuts, For the bumber brackets? I remember reading something about that...whats the size i need because the PA kit's are too big?
Any final problems i might encounter that you guys would like to let me know on. I have a 03 crew that i purchased 7-8 months ago with only 1300 miles so im lucky that nothing is too dirty down there or rusted up. Anything different with the 03's that arent listed in the instructions?
thanks guys

I'm not sure of the size of the nuts for the rear bumper bolts. You'll just have to take one out and see I guess. Maybe they got it wrong just in my kit?
Since you have an 03, your fuel filler hose setup is different than the instructions...there's no vent hose. When you're lifting the bed, remove the filler hose from the tank. Cut the zip tie that attaches the ground strap to the filler hose to gain some slack. Then when you reattach the filler hose, put it on the tank just far enough to give the hose clamp something to clamp to...that way the filler hose will have plenty of slack.
Also...you'll probably be able to remount the battery tray and differential actuator in the stock location. Once the body is lifted, just check and see if there's enough slack in the cables.
I think that was it. If you have some time, search for the old threads on this. There may be some more info that I'm forgetting.

they say if your steering binds after the lift, you are supposed to pull the 3 or 4 bolts out of the firewall for the column and elongate the holes to lower it like a half an inch. I don't know of anyone who has actually done it yet.
