I would like to put on a two or four inch lift on my truck. I never done it before. Is this something I can do by myself in a day? Also if you have any recommendations I of a manufacture I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Do a little looking at the body lift threads. You can do one yourself. Check out the marvelous mystery lift if you want to run up to 33" tires. If a smaller tire will do, just the 2" body lift will clear 31" tires for mild use.
There is no good suspension lift under 5". That is just the way things work. Even then 33" tires are the max.
There is your choice. 2" BL or 5"-6" suspension lift.

I guess it all depends on what you plan on doing with your truck. Is it just for looks or off roading? Check out the Reader's Rides Post You can get a good look at what people have done and see what you want to do or at least get some ideas!!! And if you're looking for something you can do in a day, a 2" body lift would be the answer. Want to raise it up some more, crank the T-bars and add shackles or air shocks to the back. Easy one day project! (and the least expensive!!)
