my truck sucks lol ( wheel problems)

Post by bubaloo1983 »

well my truck is at it again after only 2 weeks after new ball joints my wheels are bowed out like mofos. what the fook. i dunno what to do. i think im going to go back to like 32 inch tires although i had these problems with those aswell so its not just the 35s. aswell some other people are running 35s on these trucks so why cant i :( bah

anyway anyone have any ideas on why the front wheels keeping going wierd on me? aswell i got my friend to drive it around for me while i watched and when it turns they get really bad. what causes this? i think its either smaller tires or SFA

all IFS suspensions allow the wheels to bow in and out on turns. its just exagerrated now that you have 35's. its not so noticable with 31's....

One thought I had is the bushings in the control arms. How about swapping them for urethane or something? That will cut down on a lot of the flex.

Honestly, I'm not sure right off the top of my head. I just thought about them from a car I built for autocross years ago. Worked great on that. I would think any place that sells high performance car and truck parts should be able to get them.
