To the best of my knowledge the information is still correct, but be prepared...the price of steel is ridiculous!
Once you add shipping, it might have you changing your mind.
Look local first if you can. It may be worth your time to drive an hour.
I would still give Mike call though.

another option is cutting some larger springs.. someone here did it themselves and it seems to work just fine and is way cheaper than the kit..

I'd find another option. A local shop that you can drive to. If not then I would consider a long single leaf.gocntry wrote:....The Spring Kit Is About $150.00 + Another $50.00 To Ship To Virginia....

Longer springs can be cut down.2bunik wrote:hey brule what about cutting the larger springs...
The idea with adding the spring kit is that it has been arched to match the stock spring pack. Adding multiple leaves spreads the load evenly through the pack, so you are not concentrating the load in one area of the spring pack. This gives you the lift correctly, and doesn't affect the function of the pack adversly.
Now will adding a single leaf work? Sure, and cheaper than the kit. I'd still try to find a local builder and leave the single leaf as a last resort.
