vibration after B.L. ??????

Post by ZIGGY K »

Was wondering if anyone experienced a vibration in the steering wheel , with the crew in drive and foot on break ??? :? and i seem to get a lot more engine noise, could that be from a lack of gap guards covering the front wheel wells ??

I haven't had ANY problems with my body lift. as far as the engine noise I never got gap guards for the front, the stock flapper thingeys were long enough. And I made my own gap guards for the rear. :D

no problems hear either except for my bed bolts came loose and caused a loud clunking noise on steep inclines... I say go around and check your bolts again ..

I had a bed bolt come loose also. The only thing I have noticed is once in a while it I turn to full lock and I am moving with a good rate of speed, like in making a right turn, I hear a thud, but it may be my tires hitting the sway bar, so I don't think it has anything to do with the BL.

I noticed more engine compartment noise too -- dunno why -- I pulled the carpet back and pulled all the under dash panels and could find no seals or grommets pulled out of position -- I think it's just some freaky resonance-type thing.

Been a year now and no problems at all with my BL, except for me not getting my fuel filler extension done right the first time, and tripping the SES light for a few months.

After I installed my body lift I didn't notice any vibrations that could be felt. However, there was a little more noise in the cab. This problem was fixed by putting on the Mud Rovers. Now I just hear the tires. :)
