With stock rear spacing on a 7" wheel I'd say no problem.

I'm guessing that you are going to 8" wheels, so things may get a little close.

I'd say that if you have 5.5 inches of rearspacing on the 8" wheels those will just work. Maybe a little fender lip modification.

Nice chart Jeff, check out the information forum for tips on making those loooong urls into links ;)

15"x7" w/6" rearspacing.

so would it be safe to say that if you ran a 31x10.5 15 on another will say a 8 inch wheel then you would need to increase the back spacing to 7"

Nope. That would be too much rear spacing and you would rub the frame worse than the 6" spaced wheels do.
For an 8" wheel 5.5" rearspacing is the best you can do for clearances.

my bad i was to tired to think. just going through old post to see what I would have to do to fit 31s. I cant affoard the super lift for awhile and so when I get my new tires im going to do a 2 in body lift and t bar crank and shackles. That would get enough room for the 31s from what I understand right.

Oh yeah HenryJ how did you mod your nerf bars to stay up aganst the cab when you did your 2 in body lift?

This is probably a stupid question...

If we're shooting for 30" or 31" tires, how tall are the stock tires?

29"

just read the size of the tire off of your sidewall of your tire on your truck then take those numbers and plug them into the calculator/conversion page from the homepage of this site and you will get the actual size of your tires
