Has anybody ever checked into the possibility of Extending the front axles and fabricating An extension for the A-Arm for an alternative lifting option?

Seems like Conman looked into that subject.
I havent heard of any kits though.
A good fab shop should be able to build the a-arms, and I'm sure that a bigger better diff could be installed for the longer axles.

I did some google searching and did find some extended a-arms. There is quite a few long travel kits for the 2wd trucks only. I did not find anything for our trucks(custom or kit form), but did find a set of a-arms for the AWD Cyclone/Typhoon Cousins. As for our trucks, it appears there is no-one working on them. If someone did, there would be some disadvantages for us. One, it would probably have to stick out pretty far and increase the front wheelbase just to get any good out of extended and long travel. Two, very very custom IFS Axles would have to be made to keep them from breaking every other weekend probably. Those axles with those trick CV joints were like $3,000 a pair!!!
So the only way to get that kind of long travel performance is probably to get a Straight axle swap.
Right now, I'm not planning on doing any suspension mods to my Crew. I have been looking at some fullsize trucks with lifting in mind. The Chevy fullsize, there is one kit that converts the front t-bar setup with a trick coil over setup and the Nissan Titan which already comes with Coilovers in front.
Back to the s10, if you just want a lift with a little more performance, the Trailmaster and if the superlift comes out is probably your best and cost effective bet!
