Just ordered my NEW tires
I just ordered a set of Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 31x10.50 R15 from Tire Rack.com, They came out to 750 shipped. I was shopping for tires around here, and I couldn't find those for less than a grand not mounted or balanced. Internet is a pwerful thing.
Thank you to me for putting all that money away for a rainy day in the Government taxxes account. YAY...
I will get pictures of them when I get them in and put on. Give me till after the weekend maybe.

Tire Rack is awesome...I've bought from them a few times. Best part is, living in Northern Indiana I can just run up to their South Bend warehouse and pick them up. They'll even install them for a nominal fee.

Tires were put on about a week ago. Drove three hundred miles on them the first day, didn't even wear the "dimples" off of them. They do have a humm to them at really low speeds and at above 55 mph. In the middle, you don't even notice it. It is not a loud humm, just right.
I haven't been able to test them out yet off road, work is crazy, hopefully this weekend, I will get out and play a little.

Good luck with them.
That's a great price. Only cheaper I've seen are on ebay and not by much. I'd gladly pay an extra fifty or so for piece of mind that comes from doing business with tirerack.
If you have the means, I'm sure everyone would appreciate some picks of them on your CC.

I have those in 30x9.5 and you will not be disappointed. Just make sure you have an alignment if needed to keep them healthy. I wish I had the 31s, kinda jealous.

Had an alignment done when I had them put on. Should be good to go for a while anyway.
Here are some pictures of them on the truck. If anyone is interested.
I am going to keep this post up every couple of thousand of miles or so for anyone with interest to have a general idea of what the tires are.

I have had these wheels on three different chevy's, They have been run hard for the last six or seven years. Only problem I have with them is one of the rims is starting to flake the chrome off and rust. But, I just took some silver Rustoleum and touched it up, you can't even tell more than three feet away.

Outstanding! Looks real good. A much more aggressive "truck-like" appearance.jflatley wrote:Here are some pictures of them on the truck. If anyone is interested.

Yes, I actually took about an inch and a half off of the fenders, following the Skidz Cut Out with out putting the flares on.

You can still see it a little bit on the driver's side where the metal bent a little.

That was my fault though, I was starting to rush as it was getting dark.

Well I have 5000 miles on the new tires. I just did a rotation on them yesterday. The reason for the rotation was they started maknig a very loud humming noise, more than before. I took the front tires off and found the reason to the noise. The front tires are starting to cup up a little. It is a good thing that I did rotate them now, not in a few weeks or days when the tires could be destroyed.
