BL almost completed

Post by normdiver »

New here, Thanks for all the good information posted. Just installed BL on sons 1999 S-10 extended cab PU. It was the PA 2 inch kit. The only big problem was the fuel hoses, what a pain in the butt, I bought 2 hoses, a foot of each one and made them up new, did not want any splices. The only other problem will be the rear bumper (I Think), He has a step side bed, not a fleetside. After I get that put back on in the next few days ill post some photos. Painting the grill now, drove the truck down the road today, no steering problems and got some plastic floor trim and fasterners for the gap today at HQ and Autozone. :D

Son Helping

Post by normdiver »

Son, Robrcer is 16 and the younger one is 14. Yep they both helped, Its Robs truck and he paid for it as well as the BL kit. Both boys are learning to do things right and I build and fix alot of stuff so they get alot of training to help them out later in life. Rob will be posting on here later looking for help with tires. Jay will be looking for an s-10 in a year or so and im sure we will be installing a BL on his truck.

The body mount spacers are 3" in diameter.

ok because usually they are 2 inch which on older chevys its smaller than stock, so the body tends to rot through, thats the only concern iv had about getting the body lift.
