Nice read Kartek is about a 1/2 hr from me and so are most of their Dealers. I just might cruise by one of their shops and have them take a look at my truck and see what they think! Might not have to go SFA after all.

even more convienent for you . probably cost me a ton of $$$ because i am up here in canada , oh well .
And yes , unless you need lots of articulation , or are running tires bigger than 35's , stregthening your IFS maybe the way to go , BUT i bet that it will cost you the same

that makes a good point , i forget about the fact that a sfa is not great as a daily driver plus I think a lifted IFS looks better .
Also , you may not have to use all of the listed parts , maybe just install the ones that are prone to failure on our trucks , ie: ball joints and then get the heavy duty cv boots too .
I believe the MOOG bjoints are the only other known improvement over the stockers , so these maybe another alternative .
I wish we could find out some prices for these products .

Well the article says that they can make parts / or have parts for all makes and models and sizes of 4wd IFS , SUV and Pick up . Being that the S10 is very popular , it must be available .
I will look for a contact number and ask if they have a catalog .
http://www.kartek.com
in the customers pic section there is a pick of some kind of S10 based front end .

it would be nice if they would reply to my emails , but no luck on that so far . I am trying to see how much there systems/upgrades cost , compared to a SAS . In a year i may just go all out and spend the little extra $ and do a mild SAS ( Dana44's and 33" tires , no regear or lockers ) . but i can' findout how much there IFS stuff costs , or even if they make it for S10 Platforms .
