Post by gairbear »

Just got some new 32x 11.5's yesterday.....They look great....Might need to do a bit of trimming on the front bumper area and the rear fenders...Just in case. I'll post pics soon.

Do you have any rubbing yet with the 32's? :)

I've already done some trimming to the back of the front fender, and the front valance. I Only rub going up a steep incline while turning right at a very specific angle....but other than that...I'm good

When you go up an incline while turning does it rub on the rear of the fender well or somewhere else? :?

AS of right now...I'm not totally positive.....it may be the front bumber.....

I think I may need to take a look at the height (t-bar adjustment)...I've had rubbing issues with the pass. front since I bought it in july.....

I'm starting to think that's the prob.

The CC looks great Gary! Seeing those big, beefy 32x11.5's makes me want to get those instead of the narrower 33x10.5's. :) Decisions, decisions!

yeah...I was Very happy when I actually saw them on for the first time....(tear). I think I need spacers for the rear so the track will line up.

Thanks for the props bro....

Gary, how close do the tires get to the back of the front fender when turning on a level surface?

I'd say I got about an inch or so.....that's gonna change a bit once I "adjust" the t-bars about an inch.

gairbear:
what do you have done for lift?
do your tires rub the frame at all?
what's the backspacing on those rims? any spacers?
i think i remember steve2003 saying that he rubbed 31X10.50's with the 6" SL and i believe jeggers had rubbing with 6" SL and 2" Body lift with his 32X11.50's and i obviously rubbed my 33X12.50's with 7" of lift before i trimmed away the fenders. now you guys are getting all these oversized tires under a stock suspension......grrrr...hindsight, it's 20-20

Looks killer man!

Thanks bro...

All I really have for lift is a 2" BL...(I'm gonna do a little t-bar tweak soon though), I believe, don't quote me, the rims have 4" BS.....no spacers and no frome rub (that's why I went with these rims instead of the old ones) And I've trimmed about 2 inches off of the rear of the front fender.

I do get a bit of fender rub now and again, but Honestly I think it's cuz my t-bars are a bit out of wack at the moment.
