What does it feel like when your shocks are worn out?
The only reason I ask is because I feel like my CC is ok but maybe i'm used to it. With all the talk about Bilsteins I feel like I'm missing out. Or maybe I'm asking what does it feel like with bilsteins on. My truck doesn't continue to bounce after hittting bumps etc. but potholes can feel harsh. This is making me wonder if that is what you some of you experienced and then replaced the shocks and the problem went away. I know the original questions sounds a little strange.

It makes you think you are cornering on rails when you upgrade shocks. With mine it was like night and day!ace wrote:The only reason I ask is because I feel like my CC is ok but maybe i'm used to it. You can easily open and close the OEM shocks when they are off of the CC. The HD Bilstiens took me putting all my wgt on them to collapse them and the moment I relaxed they were fully extended. OEMs will remain in whatever position you let go of them at. I only had about 5K on my OEM shocks.

Thanks for the reply's. It sounds like this is a must. I was focusing in on the boise spring kit but maybe I should do shocks first then save again for the boise spring kit. The dilemma is that I tow a camper and it does sag quite a bit. I was hoping to blow off the shocks for awhile but if it's that much better than it's a must on my list.
