Body Lift question

Post by AZS10Crew »

Has anybody here with a 2003 gotten the 2" body lift yet? If so...where from? Is there anything special to know about it? Is it possible to install yourself with average tools and how much time did it take?

Thanks in advance...

I'm pretty sure there isn't any difference from 2001-2003 so the pa-192 would work. Yes you can do it with average tools but it was very helpful doing it at a garage with a lift. It took about 8 hours (following instructions)..Sometimes it took longer to find the things the instructions were describing then to do them. I had the roll pan so there was no need to mount the rear bumper bracket (- 1 to 2 hours extra).

I believe if you go to www.summitracing.com then type in PRA-PA-192 it will come up for the extended cab (it will also work on crew cabs)

I'm definitely thinking about it. If I can't talk "the boss" into letting me get the 6.5" TS lift, then I'll have to settle fot the 2" BL.

Took me a little longer. More like 12 hours. I had to modify my bumper brackets to work with a non stock hitch. I did not have to drill the core support like the sheets say so I think it was easier than the instructions lead you to think.

I'm only looking at 32x10.5 Swampers, so I think I'll be OK with just the TS lift. Hopefully... :)
