used computer equipment = someone elses problems and seeing what some of the people at s10 forum are up to, not that this is the case here, I would just rather be safe than sorry.

Nice, I am just leery of something that could potentially cause my computer brain to fry. I can't fix that like my home system, if it crashes I'm toast.
"Excuse me Mr. Dealer my truck won't run after trying to change your factory program with this bargin reprogrammer could you pleassse fix for me under warranty. "

Should you reset anytime you go in or just when they might have to work on the electronics. Say if they had to disconnect the battery to find a short vs. diagnosing a problem, not that that will happen I have an auto x-ray scan tool so I will know if something is wrong and can reflash before brining it in.

I would set it back almost anytime who knows when or why they might plug into that port

Got my PP3 in today. Installed in less than 10min total and took it for a spin.
settings
87 octane
5500 rev limiter
110mph
shift firmness
all I have to say is hotImage
Why did GM make it shift so poorly from the factory?
Shifts smooth and tight no letting up on the throttle just before shift to fight power lag, and yes the rear end will spin a long time when you have dry roads, studs and a proper shifting tranny.Image

If you check there shipping info they ship from a bunch of different warehouses. Maybe they are shipping from further away or the closest one was out of stock.Image
