Wheel lugs and locks for S-10s

Post by TexasBlaZeR2 »

I am interested in getting some wheel locks for my rig. I would like them to match the black plastic caps on the wheels.

What are the best locks to get? What size are the lugs/locks? Does anyone have a set of these? Do the standard plastic caps fit on them, or are they available in black?

Thanks,

And dealership parts dept or maybe GMPartsDirect should have ones that are threaded on the end for use with the stock black lug nut covers. I had to buy some for my Camaro before when the stupid dealership forgot to include the current lug nut key with the car.

These are the same as the stock design, except they do not have the threads for the caps. ...

What about chrome lug nuts? I replaced all mine with a set of chrome with locks. I believe they are made my Mr. Lug Nut, and Kragen carries them. I really hated the stockers with the useless black caps, and IMHO, the chrome lug nuts look much better. :D

These are the ones I bought. Can't beat the price and they have the threads for caps:
