i want the cragar rims that are chrome but i live in kansas.

i want these rims really bad but i dont want them to rust after snow and the salt gets on them...does anyone think that if i take care of them it could work..and if so can i put a 10.5 inch wide tire on a 7 inch wide rim...

Yes..a 10.5" wide tire will fit on a 7" wide rim.

As for the wheels rusting...maybe try having them clearcoated at a body shop. That should help protect them.

you could just swap your stockers back come winter
they may be ok for a winter but faster then normal the salts gonna start to eat away the chrome

Dude steel will rust. less money for the wheels and they dont last as long. it is what it is, man.

So i you running a lift? i am guesing that you want to run a 31x1050 with 4"bs , going to need to do something to get that to fit.

yes im putting on a 2 inch body lift and the torison bar crank and shackles...the 31s will fit....yep i cant wait

Those are going to rub. you may need to look into some cut outs.

I live in Nebraska and have chrome wheels on both vehicles. Come about November the Chromies go into storage in favor of "winter" wheels. If you're going to invest in nice chrome wheels, do yourself a favor and have a winter set too.

I have chrome wheelz and they are gettin kinda rusty and clouded b/c I never take them off and I put lots-o rock gashes in them :D and I don't clean them very often
