Question about available tires sizes and prices

Post by Blaze One »

So i have been lookin around for some 32" M/t . I like the BFG mt's but they on come in a 32x11.50r15 . I thought i could find a 32x10.50 but there does not seem to be that size . or am I missing somethin? ? And would a 11.50 fit on a stock rim ? and would rubbing be more of an issues since it is 1" wider . ?
if anyone knows where i can buy a 32x10.50r15 let me know . I was looking on 1010tires site.

To answer your question - I think the 11.50 will be the max width you would try on a 7" rim - this will be a source of disagreement from many, but for normal street driving with good air pressures I'd do it. Now if you're going offroad a lot and airing down for traction, you risk a greater chance of popping a bead off a rim.

Generally a 32x10.50 is a rare breed - Super Swamper/Interco is one of the only brands that I'm aware of that makes them.

Here they are on 4wheelparts.com : TSL Radials in 32x10.5

They make several of their tires in odd-ball sizes - 30x10.5 , 31x9.5, I think I saw a 27x9.5 somewhere....just poke around.

Well i found out that with Bub's Flares you can run a 31" tire with no lift . But it would look better with a minor lift , I think .

yes but with 4" bs. if i wanted to i could go with 33x1250's.

i had the tires before the sl kit and with some trimming they could fit. :D

But some advise now that i have the lift if i were to do it again i would do the bl and cut outs and 31's. but when i started this there were no cut outs

yeah i am waiting for the production of Blazer 4dr flares , since this is my DD and i can't spend $2000 plus install for a 6" lift , the Cutouts and BL w/31's will look good for me .
