i really want a dana 60 but i guess i will see what i can find, a 44 is ok too.
im going to go with what it has basically. if its leafs i will go leafs if coils go coils. all fab work will be done at our shop so in terms of custom bracketry and welding ect i got it covered lol.
i want to go leaf over too ( if i go leafs) my goal is to sit higher about 4 inches and run a slightly bigger tire like a 36 . mild wheeling only
its mostly for looks and less 500 dollar payments over and over again for ball joints wheel bearings and all sorts of other stuff that creaks and snaps in my front end

Did you need to mod the trans cross member to install the relocators?
2001 cc 2" pa body lift traded
2004 cc zr5 2" pa body lift 6" super lift 2" rear shackle and tb crank traded for a v-max Silverado
2006 V-max cc
2001 ex cab 4x4 ls work truck rufff country 2" lift sold
2012 silverado WT 2wd
you shrink it basically as much as you want the t bar to " undrop" LoL the higer you bring the bars up the narrower you have to make the crossmember. and the more custom work you have to do to mount it. you need to make a few washers ect but its not horrible. you need a welder for sure or geta shop to do it. i had my freind install them at his auto shop and it cost me 500 bucks. so if you can do it your self do it. quik biker has instructions on how he did his on his website

I am sure your's will look a lot prettier than mine when you are finished but I guarantee that you will like it way better than your ifs. Just make sure you research it A LOT and know exactly your plan of action before you start.
We are actually getting ready to do a SAS on my friend's fullsize chevy and he made all of the brackets and planned everything out and we havent started the swap yet (he doesn't have enough money for the axle he wants yet) but we have it all drawn out and all of the brackets made.
I just hit the 900 mile mark on mine with NO problems or noises (besides my broken t-case )
im heading out right now looking for shat it shall be fun.
im planning on doing it over a long period. starting now but wont be finished for awhile. im going to do alot of planning. and maybe start in like late june.
i iwll keep you posted paul and i garuntee will be asking you questions lol

Yes, I drive it every day. and yes, it sees highway and asphalt, I drive it all the time and as much as I can unless I know I am going somewhere pretty far away then I just take my car (the blazer could never touch my car's 26mpg)
It drives perfect everywhere I go. the only downside is I don't have any swaybars set up (nor do I ever plan to) so it has a bit of body roll.
oh trust me there will something very cool made for the front of my truck. its just like my ifs rightnow i have a nice chrome skid for under the sway bar i will make something very sweet for it
and you know i will be showing everyone

Yea, let us in on what way ya go babaloo. I'll probably pay someone to do mine. I really don't have the time. And me wifey probably divorce me if I did do it, since she would never see me, I'd be living in the garage. Nothing wrong with doing it youself though! Good luck!
Started today guys! front end is out and done already and i found what was wrong the whole time. the lift was poorly installed. bolts loose, falling out, Brackets rubbing ither stuff, the front shocks are absolutly trashed from not enough cutting on the control arm and the list goes on i will have some pics for you guys tomorrow of the ifs removal.
cant wait to get it done

Wowzers. You didn't install the lift yourself? I hope my sas goes well, cause I usually do everything myself. But the guy I got doing mine is always on the same page, so I think he will do it exactly like I like it. We'll see! Woohoo!
QB - my big question is....will you be doing as many detailed pics of your SAS as you did your TM lift in progress?
