Bolt pattern?

Post by buttnekkidnparadise »

I know our bolt pattern on our s10 is 5 x 4.75, but I'm wondering if we have and equal in the millimeter department?
4 x 1100? 4 x 1200? those numbers?
Thanks guys

Well, it wouldn't be 4 x anything. Standard or metric there are 5 lugs.

and, 4.75 inches is about 120.64999999999999 milimeters

.65?

Will I run into problems if I just go with the 5 x 120 wheel size? or will that .65 make a difference in the end?

You're asking things that the members of the Canadian ZR-2 forum would more likely to be able to help you with. :)

They are purely metric and very helpful and understanding of non ZR2 owners.

Speaking of understanding........there is a member of ZR2.com that is wanting a BL in new england that is undergoing chemo and surgery shortly and it made me a tad misty eyed, for a crusty old retired cop, with the number of members planning on meeting and doing his lift while he is unable to.

I would guess even that small amount would make a difference because the studs wouldn't be centered in the holes. Because the lug nuts are tapered to center the stud in the hole, the first one you tighten would center, but that would make the other 4 off and as you tighten the others it would stress the center portion of the rim. Whether or not it would cause any damage I don't know, but I would stick with an exact match if at all possible.
