steering damper

ok all you GM experts!!! i'm an old foreign car mechanic,, and this GM stuff messes with me from time to time...like now! :?
how do you "install" the steering damper on our crew cabs??
i see where it bolts to the "frame"/cross member!! where does it bolt on the steering?? do i need a different drag link....??? idler arm??? or what??
help me out here!!!!

Steering stabilizer Question.

You will need those parts. I don't think it has been done yet though. Just researched.

so.......after an hour or so of trying to find an image of this centerlink......i assume it is different from the stock one on the crewcabs??!!??

Yep, it has a hole in it for the stabilizer to be inserted.

My '86 S-10 Sport had the factory stabilizer as do the ZR2 package S-series.

I think that either of those links would work, but haven't tried it yet.
