BDS in 1 month
BDS is coming out with a 5" suspension lift in or around the middle of February for the crew cab s10/sonoma models. I didn't see any other posts regarding this and i can't officially verify the time and date, but i have been in contact with them via emails and by phone through a local dealer. so be on the lookout.

Keep us informed. It will be interesting to see what they have to offer.

Tell me bout it....I just remembered making fun of Hobie about something lift related
Seriously I thought it was something about Trailmaster being bought by BDS, but a search shows that Perf. Accessories bought Trailmaster and some of TM's people went to BDS or something like that.
I'm rambling....forgive me....

Don't feel bad. My mind has been gone for years. And I'm not that old either!HenryJ wrote:First the gray hair ...then the memory...
If you use a kit like this: http://www.setstr8.com/GM_Sseries.htm then it isn't all that hard either. Just really expensive in the case of the Fabritech kit! I think the 9" kit was like $2300 when I looked at it (probably more now) and that doesn't include axles or anything to raise the rear end. Just the front.adrenalnjunky wrote:Not like going SFA is any easier

I will let you guys know how hard it is to do the sas here in a couple weeks or so. I just bought a d30, and we are rebuilding it and trussing it, replacing all of the joints, and the gears are on order, and the leafs are in my garage ready to belong.
I am going to do leaf springs for simplicity
Here are the pics of what we have done so far

and people tell me i have too much money! isn't your trail master only a few months old? do you plan on going much bigger than you are now or are you just looking to clear your 33's without any rubbing? looks pretty cool so far...you'll have to let us know how much the sfa swap ends up costing you once you get everything all worked out.

Ummm, when I did the trailmaster that was all I was able to do b/c I was still learning my way around trucks, and I wouldn't change it for anything b/c I learned sooooooo much by doing it myself. Also back then I didn't have a welder or a friend that could weld.
I am planning on hopefully selling the tm on ebay or something and getting some money back out of it which will offset the cost of the sas quite a bit. I am hoping that I can sell the tm for 750ish considering it is only 4 months old b/c I just put it on this last summer and I would be selling both the oil pan skid and the xfer case skid with the kit b/c they will not work anymore and bubaloo is making me a 1/4 steel t-case skid so I dont break it.
Also I will be selling the 4.10's in the front diff as a whole with the diff. And the superlift upper control arms and superlift torsion keys. and anything else anybody might want like torsion bars wheel bearings and such.

I will be selling stuff as soon as it comes off, you can put in dibs right now and I will sell it to ya, pretty much all of the stuff in my frontend is brand new and good except for those dam ball joints
Actually anything that you can think of that is included or a part of the ifs you guys can ask for it.
