Cutting the fender??

Post by coreylubahn »

What does everyone mean when they say they have to cut their fender. Are we talking cutting the plastic wheel "flare" and the black plastic "fling" guards? Or are we talking take out the salzal (how he heck is that supposed to be spelled) and hacking into the metal fender, the plastic fling guard and the plastic wheel flare and making a huge mess of that whole are of the vehicle (if your impatient like me). Thanks in advance...still debating this SL 6" kit (if you've been following the other threads).

and yes, on all accounts. in some cases, a little bending and trimming of plastic is all that's needed. in others, chopping out chunks of metal fender is required.
