Is there one that works better for disconnecting? I'm game if you know of one. Other than that, the stock one is very thick and works great.

What about for street. I've seen 2wd rear, but not 4wd. I didn't look too hard, though...

The ZR2's have a rear trac bar. Not sure if that's what you're looking for...or if it would even work...but I know they have one. Don't Blazers have them too?

Yep -- my blazer has a rear anti-roll / sway bar. I didnt notice it until I went to put my daystars on -- I had both shackles off, and the truck on jack stands and I was supposed to lower the rear axle down to the ground -- well it just hung there because of the swaybar.

(should I be concerned with all that oil residue on my diff? or is that normal seepage?)

That's kinda what I was thinking.

I wanna re-gear my truck after I do 31's anyhow, so I may just wait until then and rebuild it all.

If it ain't drip'n, I wouldn't worry about it. I did mine when I put my Detroit in at the same time. You gotta be carefull when you do it also, cause when you re-torque the pinion, chances are you will compress the crush spacer (can't remember exact name), then you will have to re-set the gear pattern and spacing. Also, if you got one of those tripple seal deals, what I did was yank the seall off the yoke and replaced the diff input seal to a single type seal. Or else you gotta replace the whole yoke. I used the stock yoke and converted it to the single seal type. Been doing great for me! I just kinda made that conversion up as I went, I don't think it's documented anywhere. But there are some pics on my page with the locker install: http://bikesn4x4s.com/locker/index.htm

LOL, what a coincidence. I went to far into the 63.0.0.0 block. So I opened that block back up. the 60-62 block is the hakcers of Ambsterdam, but I went to far with mask of 252. Oops. You're good to go now! Don't call your IS ppl now. Can ya tell I have the day off? I was going to work this morning and there were so many jam ups and ppl in the ditch, that I just turned around and went home. I almost ended up in a ditch on some back road that was all ice. Only had about an inch, but sometimes the least amount of snow ends up being the most hazardous. :?
