Question about Bridgestone Revos

Post by proroc »

Does anyone here own Bridgestone Dueler Revos? I need new tires for my truck and I can't decide between BF Long Trails and Dueler Revos. My only concern is that I want a quiet tire that is good in dry,wet and snow. Thanks...

Def. the Revos as even though it's an AT tire, IMHO, it's as quiet as the stock Bridgestone trail tires my trooper had. Have them now for over a year and def. like the tires. BTW, the BFG AT are more equals than the Trail version.

I hear ya conman. I have a used set of BF ATs on my truck right now but do not like the way the truck feels/sounds on the road. My truck came with long trails and it drove smooth and quiet, which I loved. The problem is now it is lifted 3" and I need new tires to fill the fender wells. I was going to just buy bigger bf long trails but after hearing the good comments you made about the revos, I am going to get them tommorow morning. I am going to buy them in 30 X 9.5 because my truck has 3.42 gears and I dont plan on changing the gears in my truck. However, a powerdyne supercharger is next on my list =)

Check out tirerack.com comments on the Revo and you will be suprised how good ratings it got from consumers.

I have 3 friends running them -- 31's on a 4 runner, and 31's on a Wrangler, and a 30 on a Cherokee, and my dad is running 265/75/16's on his Z71.

All of them say they are the best driving tire they have ever put on a truck. Quiet, stop well, have less rolling resistance, and a good front end shop and align your truck better with a good set of tires. Dad's Goodyear Wrangler AT/S' wouldn't let the front end guy align anything worth a crap -- switch to the Revos, and now it tracks straight and true.

I've had several people tell me that the BFG AT KO is a killer tire as well--they come on the H2. I know 2 people that have tread left on tires with over 45,000 miles on em.

It's the BFG's or the Revos for me, leaning heavily on the Revos.

We will see on the REVO's tire wire as it's rated to go the distance but time will tell. With 12k on my set, it still looks to have alot of tread so it apears it is keeping it's promise so far. Also suprised about the tracking as I went from stock 245/70-16 to 265/70-16 and it tracks just as well as the skinnier tires did it feels.

When it comes time to replace tires, I'm def. going to look at REVOs first.

Cheers,
