Sounds like you need to find another shop. The new heated O2 sensors do not fail at the rates the old ones did.
It is too easy for a tech to blame a faulty O2 sensor. They must be tested to confirm the need for replacement. This can be done using an OHM meter. One failing , maybe...two, something else is going on if you used quality parts.

I would look for another cause of your problems.

You seem pretty disappointed in the truck, maybe it is the poor choice of repairman that is the problem?

I think it is easy for a tech to just shotgun O2 sensors on. I work as a VW tech and have seen alot of guys just shotgun parts on without even blinking an eye. Lots of things will set O2 sensor faults. Intake leaks, exhaust leaks, silicone, .......... and so on. To check intake leaks I would spray some brake cleaner around the intake while running. See if the idle changes, if so you may have a bad intale gasket. Dont spray anything on the engine the has silicone as an ingredient. It is the number one O2 sensor killer. Hope these things help you.
