I have no idea. That is the first thing that came to mind.

AFCO suspension parts are designed for road & drag racing and feature a low friction design that allows the suspension to react quicker. I don't think their parts would benefit a 4wd daily driven vehicle. MOOG or PPM are still the best choices for suspension & steering parts.

Don't know how it is in our world of the S/T series trucks but, the heep world reports many of the MOOG parts not being like they were in times gone by. No personal knowledge, just passing it along. :2:

I have been sad to see many different brands gravitate toward less expensive suppliers. Quality seems to decline with no hope of finding it. I opened three different brands from very different retailers to find the same imported ball joints in the boxes. It just ain't right. AC Delco and NAPA chassis should not be the same!

I really do not see any end in sight with the situation. Quality parts, when there is a demand, are outrageous.

Where there is a demand, as in heeps, you can get a replacement axle Ujoint for $6.99 (duralast from Autozone) or get the good ones that are the CTMs for $260 each!

It really is truly depressing for us that remember "the days of yesteryear"!

With perseverance you can find decent parts. It is just sad that you have to check the part every time to make sure that it has not changed for the worse.
