New wheel bearings @ 53k

I found I had neither in a deep version, so had to invest in one. The standard ( 1 7/16 ) socket was $6 cheaper than the metric socket. Guess which one I bought? Wink The socket was $24.

If you don't already have one pick up a good long breaker bar while you are at it. Those axle nuts are torqued to 200lb/ft and can be a bear to get loose if there is any corrosion.

thanks
Henryj for the socket info I couldn't find a deep socket in 1 7/16 so i got a 36mm $16.99 and thanks 04 crew for the breaker bar suggestion it really came in handy the nut was a beast to get off..well took it for a little drive and no more grinding and wheel wobble ....while i was there I went ahead and put on new brakes too...the tattle tails were screeching pretty good.
