I was driving home tonight and my truck started doing the same thing I mentioned in an earlier thread. Almost like a total loss of engine power for just a fraction of a second. I got home and let the truck idle in park, and the engine kept sputtering at random, like it was about to die. I let the truck idle for probably 30 minutes and it kept doing this, but never died.
When I'm driving the truck under constant throttle, like going up hills or accelerating, there is no problem, it's only when I'm idling, or at a steady speed and throttle that is does it. I'm wondering if I have a bad plug or something? I haven't checked yet (will do tomorrow). I also didn't have either of my multimeters at home, but they're at work, so I can use them tomorrow to. Anyone have any other suggestions since I think the tranny has been ruled out considering that the problem occures when in park as well.
Well....I don't think it's the transmission anymore
