anyone have any comments on using royal purple in our trucks? I was told it was good stuff.
SOLD! 2003 Zr5 black. Alpine CDA-9831 cd with iPod adapter, JL Audio VR650-CSi (6.5" componets in front doors), JL Audio 8 W-3, Sony 260G. Air box mod, Flowmaster 40 dual exhaust.

Now a Scion xD with lots of audio stuff!

I opt for the recommended lubricant to supply the correct amount of friction required to operate the Eaton G80 differential.

Yes, it's good stuff, and Redline is also good stuff. :D I am using Redline Heavy Shock Proof gear oil in both differentials and their synthetic ATF in my T-case. :wink:

Swbari00, here is some info that might help. Use GM Axle Lubricant (GM P/N 1052271), or equivalent SAE 80W-90 GL-5 Gear Lubricant. :wink:
