has anyone installed one of these units yets???
is the light output that much greater and is it worth the $$$$

Please don't get the HID's.

The only way to really get proper HID's is to modify your current housing to accept the optics of a HID system. If you are willing and do a little searching you can put together a better system than 90% of the HId "kits" out there, and do it for less. Plus for just a little more you can get HID highs and lows.

just fyi, i got alot of experience with these things, I am willing and able to convert to true projectors, if anyone is interested, only thing is, you have to start out with a set of those aftermarket projectors. The sky is the limit with those....send me a PM if interested
