Hole to wire CB antenna

Post by the_goods8 »

I just mounted a 8 1/2 foot whip to my bumper with a ball hitch mount. I was looking between my cab and bed and even the bottom of my cab for a place to run the wiring. Couldn't find anything. Does anyone know where one is or am i goin to have to drill a hole in my floor...or do you have any other suggestions.

Mine had a little plate that was oblonged. Just bend the tabs and push it through. Just like the plug holes in a trunk. It was under the rear floor pan. Actually the wire is very well hidden in my truck. Run under the center councel and under the carpet to the drain plug and under the frame to under the rear bumper.

I decided just to drill a small hole just under the carpet by the driver side seat.

Gee, there is one already made where I said under the rear driver side floor pan. No drilling needed. :?
