My CC truck is a 2002. I have installed a Kenwood DDX 7019 touch face radio with all of the remote modules that go with it. I found a 2004 blazer in the salvage yard. It has factory radio controls, in the steering wheel. I took the steering column and all of the wiring that I could. I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram, of the steering column, that are in these two trucks? The problem is the airbag is wired different, because of the radio controls.
Thanks,
Don Z.
Next on my radio upgrade todo list!

I am not quite sure who is missing something here. You, or I.
You do realize there is already a thread on installing steering wheel controls, right? The link I posted above is that thread.
It has been done several times and you may find some of the information you seek in that thread. I found it easily with a quick search
If you want to find out how to post photos. Do some reading in the Forum information.

HotRodV6 wrote:for the conversion to work, you will need the radio controls, and a new air bag clock spring with the radio controls harness build into it. I do not have the part number for the clock spring either. also the harness will run down the length of the colunm along side the yellow air bag wires, and you should have an empty plug right around the air bag plug that the radio controls harness wil plug into, and thats all you need to get. I would bet that your LT has the needed harness under the dash, hell all the blazers might have it, not sure.
If your interested in the wheel, LMK and i can email you some pics. Also if you want to try and call the dealer for a price and availability on the clock spring they should be able to look it up by your VIN number.

Yep, I got. I just need to know what needs to be modified, since the years are different. BTW, you have been a great help and very understanding. Thanks!

P.S. Do you know if this forum is going to have a set up so you can post a picture right to the thread? Here is some information that might help.
