clear corner lights
I need to replace my drivers side turn signal/fog light after it being destroyed. I have been thinking of getting a pair of clear ones ( for half the price of the stock one with fog light). I'm wondering if they make them with fog lights or if I could use the wiring for aftermarket lights later. If so do I only use one bulb per signal?

The APC clear corners that I have do not come with the fog lenses. You must use your factory lenses installed in them.
Are your fog lamp lenses OK?
If you opt to delete them, I don't know why the wiring could not be used for aftermarket lights.

Have you made a decision on what you are going to do?
I have been "mulling" this over, and may have some more options for you , if you are not already committed to another direction.

Good decision. The clears w/o fog are everywhere and cheap.kegrill wrote:...leaning towards clear corners and after-market fogs.
That also means I don't break up my spare set
I would add a relay to operate the aftermarket lights that you add if you exceed 55w per lamp. The stock wiring should be able to handle the load to that point. Adding a relay at the bulb connector should be easy, and you can run a wire up to the accessory stud in the electrical center to supply it.
