need help with lights always on

have an 01 CC the lights (head tail marker) are always on when key is on or key on running, its not drl as the drl are not on, i have tried the drl mod as well as ahl mod 2.2k 1/2 watt in speaker, im leaning toward it being ahl problem, but even if parking brake is on they stay on, im wondering if there is a wiring problem any insight is great

Did you try swapping relays to see if it is a stuck relay?

what relay, hdlp yes, but its not just headlights its full head tail marker lamps

Sounds like the sensor on the dash is bad or something is blocking it. It works on UV light instead of ambient light.

i have the 2.2k ohm resistor 1/2 watt in it and still nothing

headlight switch?? Do the lights all shut off when you shut the truck off? If so, if the truck is off can you turn the lights on and off with the switch?

If the light sensor was bad, and parking brake is on when you start the truck the lights would be off and then when you release the brake they would come on.
