Low Reading on Amp Gauge
I've noticed lately , when I start my truck the gauge reads like always a little over 14. But now as I warm up on down the road my gauge has dropped to about 12.5. This is with all elec. acc. off. Is this a sign of a major problem ?

Sounds like you need to have your alternator tested. Might be time for that AD244 swap?

Check the voltage @ the alternator with a multimeter. If its between 14-15 volts your ok. If its under 14 volts, you may need a new alternator. Sometimes our high quality GM gauges are the problem!
